What is behind the guideline rent and value protection?

Explained briefly and concisely:

• Guide value rent: This is the rent based on a fixed guideline value that is regularly adjusted to bring rents into line with general price trends.

• Value protection: The rent is regularly adjusted to inflation in order to maintain the purchasing power of rents. This keeps the rent fair and stable in the long term.
